Yarhala / Yarhalas

The first encounter between the Insulamis and the Yaralas is still spoken of. There they are described as erudite saurians, gifted with a complex language, respectful conduct and social manners. The average Yarala is one body length taller then an Insulami, a factor which contributes to the great respect they earn.

Their reptilian appearance is more pleasant than one would expect because of their smooth thin skin, and expressive pleasant expressions. They walk upright, on the tips of their toes and have a short tail.

The Yaralas love harmony and instill the value of loyalty and nobility, and the love of knowledge, mysticism and beauty in their fellow people. This does not exempt them from resorting to the use of force if it is for a clear and noble reason. In spite of their pacific ideology, their religious pontiffs organize the most efficient troupe of knights known. The Yarala battles have been come to be known as epics of power and bravery.
