Nictian / Nictians
One of the fundamental civilizations of Alenta, the Nictian culture goes further back than memories and is lost around the night of the Great Collapsation. Nictea, the capital, is one of the few representations of the illustrious technological level, along with Tratoria and Xernebro.
The Nictians have abounded in the legends of the races since time immemorial, and the common belief is that they created culture when the rest of the communities were just lifting themselves out of barbarism. This belief is encouraged by the inaccessible racial elitism of the current Nictian community.
The Nictians possess smooth proportioned expressions that suggest security and tranquility. They usually have a rounded skull, narrow nose and thick dark curly locks. Their black or gray eyes are expressive and extremely expressive; the name Nictios comes to them from the comfort their eyes provide for nocturnal life.
