Irso / Irsos
Another of the races that inhabits the high codas. These slight beings have a layer of long dark hair that covers their entire body, barley leaving the hands, feet, nose, cheeks, eyes and forehead visible. They are capable of folding up their hyper-developed pinky finger, hiding the membrane that hangs from it (and part of their arms) until coming together at the ankles. Unfurling the membrane like a sail, the Irsos are capable of gliding a respectable distance.
The Irsos are a race of curious yet skittish beings. They prefer to hide or flee from open confrontation. They usually use lances and spears and the classic blowpipe. When their confidence is gained, the Irsos are optimistic, cheerful and merry, but they never abandon their nervous paranoia. Because of their membrane they dress themselves leaving their ankles, feet and legs uncovered. Their capacity to glide limits the weight of clothing or objects that the can carry, and their layer of hair protects them from the cold.
