Gora / Goras
Preferring canopied forests and other giant ecosystems, the Goras are large beings with slow movements and are moderate in their speaking habits. They are the losers in fables where they are blamed for acting first and thinking later and for only knowing how to use their colossal strength to resolve any situation. They have wide feet and an elongated torso. The trait that most stands out on a Gora is their thick smooth skin, which they seem to have an excess of all over their bodies, and which acts as a coat and shell.
The civilized Gora nuclei are nothing more than barbarous hunters-gatherers. Their stable organization is known to be matriarchal with settled tribes made up mostly of females and solitary or groups of male nomads. They are not especially aggressive but if they want something, they take it; this makes them bad company when they are hungry or in heat.
