Ember / Embú

The Embu are small creatures, similar to the highgoblins in stature which is where their likenesses end. They possess a robust constitution, sturdy musculature and a disproportionate strength in respect to their size. The other characteristic of the Ember is the four pairs of arms that extend from their wide shoulders, which contribute to their sense of strength. They have angled features and wide noses.

The majority of known Ember come from the great Palenque of Gannorea, where a civilized society has developed. In spite of their technological simplicity, they possess deeply rooted customs based on respect for the wisdom of the past. Therefore, the elders make up the influential class, where decisions and trials both at government and family levels are dealt with, and the oracular religious tradition is loyal to the pantheon of bygone gods and ancestral spirits.
